Portugal Wedding Photographer for the
Hi, I’m Patricia — call me Pat.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Lisbon, photographing weddings across Portugal and beyond, from city celebrations to countryside and coastal destinations.
My approach is documentary at heart, with a meaningful editorial touch, focused on honest moments, real emotions, and the way your day actually felt.
Wedding Photography Across Portugal
While I’m based in Lisbon, I photograph weddings throughout all of Portugal. From romantic palaces in Sintra, to relaxed celebrations in the Algarve, slow-paced living ceremonies in Alentejo, and intimate weddings in the North of Portugal, I travel wherever your story takes place.
I also work with international couples planning destination weddings in Portugal — and elsewhere in Europe — always with the same intentional, people-first approach.
Below, you’ll find a few wedding stories from across Portugal and beyond.
Getting amazing wedding photos is quite easy
MY APPROACH
OK, go grab your favourite photo.
Why is it your favourite?
More often than not, what truly makes a photo great is the emotion behind it: how you were feeling, where you were, who you were with, and what you were doing.
I believe that getting amazing wedding photos can be easy, as long as you're enjoying yourselves and fully immersed in the moment - that’s the secret.
There's a phrase I really love: "Weddings are not about photos, but the photos should be about the wedding." I apply this philosophy when working with each couple.
I don't want you to look back at your wedding and all you remember is me directing you on where to go and what to do, but rather how calm and happy you were, how everything flowed, and the experience you received.
I believe in being professional with an informal approach. I love people who don’t take themselves too seriously, and who love openly and honestly
I’m not sure if I can coin this term, but I’m a socially-battery-operated introvert, which matches beautifully with how I shoot. I’m not always in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment, but I give it space to unfold. I come to your wedding as a guest — capturing the day from the inside and how it truly felt — and I talk to your loved ones as a friend, because I’m also there rooting for you.
If you’re looking for a traditional photographer, I’m not them.
Each wedding day is entirely unique and should reflect who you are. I’m happiest photographing couples who are creative, unapologetically real, contemporary, fun, and down-to-earth — the kind of people who don’t mind getting a little messy and fully embrace whatever the day brings.
So give me the open-mouth laughs, the hard smile lines, the small details you probably spent one too many nights obsessing over, the teary grandparents, and the party dance moves that everyone goes crazy over. I’ll cherish them all and capture you as a friend would.
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
-
My approach is documentary at heart, with a meaningful editorial touch. This means I’ll capture your day as it unfolds, truthfully and unapologetically — the big feelings and the small details. At the same time, I’ll never leave unanswered the question, “What do I do with my hands now?” When it comes to portraits, I’ll guide you to the best light and help you pose in a way that actually feels natural and reflects you.

Since weddings are already full of decisions, I’ve designed my pricing to be as straightforward as possible. My base package is 2800€, which includes up to 10 hours of coverage with me as your dedicated photographer, capturing every beautiful moment of your wedding in Portugal.
Because no two weddings are the same, I believe your photography should be just as unique as your celebration. Send me an enquiry, and I’ll send you the full information and arrange a call to chat about your vision so we can create a package tailored perfectly to your needs.
For weddings elsewhere in Europe, I offer fixed travel fees depending on location.
-
Depending on the dimensions of your wedding guest list, I might need a sidekick. For weddings with no more than 130 guests or lots of different things happening at the same time, I can photograph it alone. If you’re having a bigger wedding with a lot happening, I’ll have a second photographer ready to capture your day with me.

Yes! I offer film photography as an add-on to your wedding coverage. Film adds a timeless, romantic quality to your images, blending beautifully with my documentary and editorial approach.
-
Absolutely. Multi-day weddings can be added as an add-on, and I also offer a dedicated package that already includes coverage for extended celebrations - I love those!
-
Fun fact: I’ve studied cinema directing and for many many years, my dream was to be a Cinema Director. A few years ago, I’ve packed my video gear to fully immerse myself in the static imagery.
To really focus on what I do best, I’m not doing video at the moment, but I have a list of videographers to recommend you!
-
Absolutely! While I’m based in Lisbon and primarily photograph weddings in Portugal, I travel anywhere in Europe to capture your story. My packages include travel within a 100km radius of my service area, and for weddings further away, I provide a travel fee along with your personalised proposal.
-
I aim for 80 photos per working hour, but I don't limit the number. These are your wedding photos, so I will never withhold any worth sharing. The full gallery is delivered within 4 months.
-
Yes! Additional hours can be added to your package, up to a maximum of 14 hours total. This is perfect if you want extra coverage for morning prep, extended celebrations, or evening festivities.
-
Yes, I highly recommend booking an engagement session. It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and it also helps me capture your story in a relaxed setting before your wedding day. You can see my Engagement Sessions page :)
OK, sounds perfect

01
Setting up a call
This is one of the most important steps of my booking process. This videocall will allow us to discuss the different options, what you had in mind for the day, and how could I bring my vision into it and help you in any way possible.
Photographers are some of the few vendors that will go through it all with you and will hold your hand as much as needed so make sure you're on the same page!
02
Let’s make it official
I'm always beyond grateful for every couple that chooses me to capture their story.
After our call, I'll send you your contract and quote to be accepted.
The date is officially yours after the contract is signed and the retainer paid.
03
Welcome!
First, celebrate. Then, welcome!!!
Weddings include a lot of decision-making, so just know I’m always available to give my opinion if you need me to. We’ll create a WhatsApp group to share any ideas, doubts and anything you might need.
